Urban Cow Half Marathon

The Urban Cow Half Marathon is run on a loop course. The course is fast and flat throughout the race, although runners will encounter several gentle hills (which rise about 20-25 feet in height). The start of the half marathon will be in two waves: the first is for those who expect to finish the race in less than 2 hours, the second is for those whose finish time will be more than 2 hours.

Race Info

Aid stations will be located approximately every 2 miles on the half marathon course. An electrolyte drink will be served at the first few tables (half marathon only) and water will be served at the remaining tables. There will be one aid station on the 5K course with water only.

Special prizes will be given to the top 3 men and women overall, as well as to the men and women Masters winners. The top 3 finishers in each age category will receive special awards. The winners of the men’s and women’s 5K race and the Masters will receive special prizes, and the top 3 finishers in each age group will receive awards. All awards will be available at the awards tent. Awards will not be mailed.

There are 4 hours to complete the half marathon and 1 hour for the 5K. For those who can’t attend in person, the organizers offer virtual registration for the 5K and half marathon. Virtual registration includes a T-shirt, official BIB, finisher’s medal and delivery.
