The Silver Strand Half Marathon is suitable for runners, walkers and athletes with disabilities. Organizers offer distances for everyone. A quick run on a flat course. And after the finish line there will be a California beach party.

Race Info
Special registration discounts are available for all branches of the U.S. military, military personnel and veterans. Friends and family members will be allowed to pick up the athlete’s starting packet upon presentation of a photocopy of the athlete’s ID card and a copy of the signed waiver.
All participants will receive: a Hawaiian button-down shirt, unique finisher’s medals, food at the finish line, entertainment on the course and at the finish line and chip timing. There will be 1 aid station on the 5K course, 6 aid stations on the half marathon course and 4 stations on the 10M course.
San Diego is considered one of the best places in the country to run races. In November monthly temperatures average 53°F to 68°F and rainfall averages just under an inch per month.
