SAR Wild Run

The SAR Wild Run is a run in Shaver Lake, CA, consisting of the half marathon, 10K and 5K trail run. Participants will enjoy the coolness of the mountains at 5400 feet. This event is for the whole family. Participants will receive a tech T-shirt, a unique medal, chip-timing and barbecue prepared by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Squad.

Race Info

5K: the first mile is a descent to the water’s edge, leading to a mile of 200-foot “climbing” with switchbacks along the hillside. The races will be held rain or shine, regardless of the weather. There will be no refunds or postponement of entry fees.

Starting packets can be picked up in advance and on the morning of the race near the starting line. For the safety of all participants, dogs are not allowed at the event.

Participants will receive: individual Big Foot finisher medal, competition T-shirt, free downloadable photos, chip timing, unique awards, barbecue, ice cream, cooling towels, finisher certificates.
