The Santa Rosa Marathon is open to both running and walking enthusiasts. The course includes many landmarks that make the race memorable. After the race participants can refresh themselves with two free bottles of beer, enjoy music from a DJ and take part in a raffle for prizes.

Race Info
Marathon and half marathon participants must maintain a pace of at least 15 minutes per mile. Runners must be at least 16 years old to participate in the half marathon and 18 years old in the full marathon. There are no age restrictions for the 5K and 10K distances.
Experienced pacemakers will be available for the full and half marathon. After the finish line, participants are encouraged to stay for a party with a DJ and raffle prizes while enjoying two free beers. Additional beers will be available for purchase. Dogs and baby carriages are not allowed on the course for the safety of athletes.
Results will be emailed to all participants. The top 3 men and women overall and the top 3 men and women in each age group in all distances will be awarded. Overall awards are based on gun time, age group awards are based on chip time. Those, who can’t stay for the awards ceremony may pick up their awards from the tent. Most of the course is on paved, natural and gravel paths.

The marathon and half marathon courses have the USA Track & Field (USATF) Course Certification and the full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The flat and fast half marathon course runs through downtown Santa Rosa. The full marathon course goes along the picturesque vineyards.
