Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon

More than 10,000 runners and walkers go to the streets of San Jose to participate in the Rock & Roll San Jose Half Marathon. On-course entertainment is the heart and core of the event. Live bands and DJs will fill the streets, performing hits of all genres and times of music.

Race Info

The race is preceded by a two-day health and fitness expo, which all participants must attend in order to get their race packets. Free and open to the public, the expo features the latest running technology, fitness apparel, health and nutrition information and interactive displays.

Official race T-shirts and finisher’s medals will be given to the runners at each distance. The time limit for the half marathon is 4 hours, 10K – 2 hours, 5K and Kids Rock – 1 hour.

The Finish Line Festival will showcase musicianship and outstanding vocals. The city of San Jose typically has warm, dry summer and milder, wetter winter. On the day of the race, the average low is 54°F and the average high is 78°F.
