Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon

The Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The main highlight of the event is the entertainment on the course: live bands and DJs will fill the streets, performing hits of all genres of music. The best idea of the marathon is not only to bring thousands of like-minded marathoners together, but also to raise money for charities. Since its inception, the marathon has raised more than $100 million for various causes around the world.

Race Info

The time limit for the marathon is 7 hours, for the half marathon – 4 hours, for the 5K race – 1 hour. Each finisher will receive a T-shirt and a medal, that are larger than ever before.

VIP packages include the best amenities for the race: pre-booked VIP parking near the finish line, exclusive pre race food at the start line, private portable restrooms, VIP aid stations, private catering at the finish line, VIP bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages overlooking the concert on the finish line in the front row.

San Diego is widely known for its nearly year-round sunny and mild weather, which rarely rises above 70 degrees in the summer and falls below 60 degrees. Rainfall at this time of year is rare. The average low temperature on June 4 is 62°F, the average high temperature – 69°F.
