The Stanislaus County Officers Memorial Group was established in 2002. The main goals of this organization are to educate the public about officers who died in the line of duty and to support and assist the families of fallen officers. The giant LCD screen will display photos of fallen officers during the race. An interesting Kid’s fun run will take place for children under 12 years old.

Race Info
All participants in the half marathon, relay, 5K and Kids’ race will receive an official T-shirt, souvenir bag, on-course entertainment, aid stations with water and beverages, and admission to the food and snack after the race. All finishers of the half marathon, relay and 5K will receive an exclusive finisher’s medal. The top man and woman overall and in each age group will be awarded.
The Kids’ race will be very interesting. One of the local police chiefs will deputize the runners so that they will have the proper authority to “catch the crook.” The crook will be dressed in a black and white prison suit. The course will be about half a mile long and participants should be younger than 12 years old. Parents can run with their children.
Several entertainment groups (school and local bands) will perform on the course. There will be 5 water and beverage points on the course. All water stations on the course will be one-way with medical personnel and portable toilets. The time limit will be 18 minutes per mile.
