The Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon & 5k is an annual marathon, which includes the half marathon and 5K, is a fast and mostly flat run. It will be a surf themed half marathon and 5K, with signature surfboard finisher medals, live music and a post-race celebration party. The half marathon course includes more than 5 miles of oceanfront running.

Race Info
All participants will receive a patch. Participants will receive the most incredible medal in the form of a surfboard. The half marathon medal is 7″ long and the 5K medal is 4″ long. Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women overall, the top male and female masters, and the grand masters men and women. There will be no awards in age groups. Participants must complete the half marathon in 3,5 hours (16 minutes per mile), and the time limit for the 5K is 70 minutes.
There will be pacers on the course. Pacemakers will line up about 15 minutes before the start and will have a sign indicating the time. Runners and walkers are welcome, as well as baby strollers. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Water stations will be located throughout the course. Water will also be available at the start and finish. Snacks and other food items will be available after the race for all participants. After the finish line, participants can celebrate overcoming the race in the music and beer garden. Participants over the age of 21 will be able to enjoy a free holiday beer. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
