The Muir Woods Marathon is a challenging trail run going through wooded trails and rocks, including scrambling under tree trunks.

Race Info
Along the way, enjoy the sounds of babbling brooks and waterfalls. Drink in the fresh smell of the towering redwoods and oaks that surround you. Your summit will be rewarded with panoramic vistas as you begin your descent back into Stinson Beach.
The course will be marked with an orange ribbon. Aid stations are located at miles 3.8, 7.5, 10.5, 14.2, 17.2, and 22.2.
All participants receive t-shirts. The first place overall male and female in each distance get rubber chickens, and the top three finishers, male and female, in each age group get personalized award ribbons. Full marathoners are also awarded finisher medals.
