The half marathon distance of the Fontana Days Run was recognized by the USATF in 1985 as the fastest half marathon distance in the world. It’s one of the oldest road races in California (and the country), 200 runners first crossed the finish line in 1955. Today, about 2000 people participate in the race, which is a fast-paced distance every year.

Race Info
All participants will necessarily be transported to the start line by bus. This is a mandatory requirement to ensure the safety of all competitors, volunteers, visitors and staff. All participants who are not brought to the start line by bus will be disqualified. All clothing and bags of participants will be collected and delivered to the finish line. Children must be in the presence of their parents during the event.
Results will be posted on the results stand after the final time has been calculated. All participants will receive finisher’s medals. Special medals will be awarded to the top 3 men and women in each age category in the half marathon race, the 5K race, the 5K walk and the Kids half-mile race. Prize money will be awarded: half marathon and 5K: 1-3 places, Master (age 40+), Fontana resident. The half marathon and 5K record holder will receive prize money.
No walking is allowed during the half marathon, this distance is for runners only.
