The Fathers Day Half Marathon – Long Beach is a small informal event with awesome souvenirs. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a goodie bag. There will be various goodies (snacks and drinks). The starting packet usually includes bags so participants can take souvenirs home. The organizers believe that the cost of the race should be low so that everyone can enjoy participating in the race. Prices at this event are lower than almost all other races.

Race Info
Each participant will receive a medal as well as a goodie bag. Some races will feature medals for the top 3 men and women. You must be present during the race to receive the awards. Awards will not be mailed. Free photos will be available to participants.
Dogs are not allowed on the course. Running or walking with a stroller is allowed. Results will be posted after the event on the website in the evening.
The time limit for the half marathon is 3,15 hours. The course will be closed at 10:45 AM. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.

You can find the course map and description here: abetterworldrunning.com.The course is very easy to follow. It will consist of loops on and off the beach, which will be marked. On longer runs there will be water, isotonics, fruit (oranges, bananas), granola bars and gels.
