Dexter Ann Arbor Run Half Marathon

A road race with a half marathon, 10K, 5K and a Kids race. The hilly and rather challenging run takes place on paved surfaces throughout the course, with a single two-mile long flat lane throughout the race. Thousands of runners participate in the race each year.

Race Info

Awards: Half marathon: $2,800 prize money (1st place $450, 2 $300, 3rd $200, 4th $150, 5th $100). 10K: $600 prize money (1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50). 5K: $400 prize money (1st $75, 2nd $50, 3rd $25). Also the top 3 men and women in each age group will receive awards.

For safety reasons, the use of headphones is not recommended. Baby joggers and strollers are permitted in the 5K only. Pets of any kind are not allowed on the course.

The maximum allowable pace for the half marathon is 15 minutes per mile, finish time is 3,15 hours. Kids race will be held for children ages 12 and under. All kids will receive a T-shirt, finisher medal and post-race refreshments. Average August temperatures in Michigan range between 50°F and 82°F. However, temperatures as high as 90 degrees with high humidity are possible.
