Arroyo Creek Half Marathon

The Arroyo Creek Half Marathon has many benefits: races always start on time, distances are measured correctly, the ability to get packages on the race day, the ability to carry the fee to any Elite Sports CA event for the next 12 months. The town, where the event takes place, is located in a valley and therefore has mostly flat terrain, but runners will experience very gradual ups and downs during the half marathon.

Race Info

Each participant will receive a finisher’s medal, a T-shirt, a souvenir bag and post-race snacks. Awards: the top 3 men and women overall and the top 3 men and women in each age group in all races will get a special award.

The trail is very walkable, it’s mostly flat, with a few gentle drops. The time limit for the half marathon is 4:00 hours. This is a race with no disposable cups, multi-use cups will be available for purchase on the race day or during packet pick up. For the half marathon runners who need a little more time to finish and still want to be a part of the fun at the after-race party, there is an “early start” option. Such participants must inform about it in advance.

Simi Valley usually has warm and sometimes hot weather in June. On race day, the average low is 58ºF and the average high is 89ºF.
