Armed Services Marathon has one of the most scenic trails in Michigan. There are no industrial centers or rundown neighborhoods. Although most of the course is flat, there are a few slightly sloping hills to tackle. This event is open to all comers.

Race Info
There will be aid stations every mile along the course. All aid stations will be similarly equipped with water, isotonics, pretzels and bananas. There will be 1 aid station on the 5K race.
Walkers are welcome on all courses. The time limit for the marathon is 6 hours. The organizers offer a special start time 1 hour earlier for those who can’t finish the marathon in 6 hours.
After the event, photos will be posted on the website. All photos will be available for free download.

You can find the course map and description here: armedservicesmarathon.com. The courses have the USA Track & Field (USATF) Course Certification. The 5K race is a flat and fast distance. Running distances are “out and back” courses. 97% of the course is on bike paths and 3% is on roads.
