Ann Arbor Marathon

The Ann Arbor Marathon is the perfect fall running event thanks to a variety of distances that will appeal to people of all ages and abilities. All races end with a spectacular finish right on Main Street. The marathon is USATF-certified and serves as a qualifier for the Boston and New York City Marathons.

Race Info

All courses, the marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, 10K, 5K and 19M training run, start near one of Ann Arbor’s most memorable landmarks, the University of Michigan Stadium. Participants will run through downtown Ann Arbor, then walk through the city’s streets and parks. The course also includes sections along the Huron River and Gallup Park and through the Nichols Arboretum before participants return to campus and downtown.

Ann Arbor in October usually has mild weather with daytime temperatures ranging from the low 40s to the high 60s. On the race day the average low is 42ºF and the average high is 56ºF.
