Bright and sunny San Diego, known for its year-round moderate temperatures and nearly cloudless skies, is the site of this race. The half marathon begins at the historic Cabrillo National Monument, which offers majestic views of San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Race Info
Each participant will receive: a short-sleeve technical shirt, a great finisher’s medal, a souvenir grocery bag, a bag of food at the finish line and free beer at the beer garden.
The time limit for the half marathon is 3,25 hours (pace 14:53 minutes per mile). 5K time limit 1 hour (19:21 minutes per mile). The time limit is necessary to ensure the safety of all participants, as public roads must be open to traffic at certain times and closed to participants. Strollers are not allowed in the half marathon because of the steep descent at the course. Strollers are allowed on the 5K, but must stand at the end of the group at the start. Dogs are not allowed in either the race or the indoor show.
The organizers offer a $10 discount for active duty military personnel. Free pace groups will be provided. Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female and non-binary participants in each race overall. Age group awards will be given to the top 3 men and women and non-binary competitors in both distances. There will not be an awarding ceremony. Age group awards will be available at the information booth. Awards not claimed within two weeks of the race will no longer be available.
