The Wild Turkey Trail Run starts at beautiful and green Valley Falls State Park just east of Fairmont, WV. Elevation gain is approximately 1500 ft per loop. The run is completely free, but the tradition is to bring your own food—to contribute to the aid station or to eat yourself.

Race Info
The Wild Turkey Trail Run is a great way to explore the stunning beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. The race is free of charge, there will be food and water, but it’s better to bring some sports nutrition with you. It is also allowed to use your own car as an aid station.
Organizers provide some giveaways like car stickers and handmade medals for the finishers.
Camping is available at nearby Coopers Rock and Tygart Lake State Park.
