The start and finish line of the Trailway Trail Race is in a beautiful spot on the edge of the lake with a huge grassy lawn where you can rest and play after the race. This is an event for the whole family. There will be several activities to help everyone have fun on race weekend. One of our favorite parts of the event is the youth trail run.
The course is about a mile long. It is a timeless race, and each participant receives a BIB and finisher’s medal.

Race Info
The aid stations will have water, ice, gels, cola, ginger ale, sweet and salty food and fruit. Before the start, you can leave your ice boxes, water supply and any other food.
Participants will receive a unique medal.There will be awards for the top 3 men and women, as well as the top men and women (50 and older) and the 1st man and woman in the age groups. These will be fun handmade awards for the top winners in each race. There won’t be an awarding ceremony at the event.
A relaxing finish line with games and toys for the kids and drinks for the finishers will be waiting for participants at the finish line. There will be a food truck at the finish line offering many different types of food. Pacers are not allowed for this event.

You can find the course map and description here: tejastrails.com. Most of the course runs under the open sky right by the water, and some in shady forest tunnels. There are a few sections with hard roots and quite a bit of sand and loose soil.
