The Derby 50K is a good run for beginners running their first ultra run. This is a very relaxed, no-frills race. The organizers ask participants to bring cat and dog food. The money raised will go to the Derby community, church, fire department, etc.

Race Info
There will be no registration on the day of the competition. Participants will be served spaghetti, salad, beverage, cake, banana pudding and pies.
Special awards will be given to the overall male and female winners. First Richmond County men and women will receive special awards and all finishers will receive medals.
The highway will be open to traffic. Therefore, competitors need to be polite and careful.
