Tallahassee Marathon

The Tallahassee Marathon was created in 1975, with only two people participating at the time. The marathon is organised by a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of running sports.

Race Info

Awards will be given to the overall winners, masters and grandmasters in both races and the top 3 men and women in the age groups. The top 3 men and women in the half marathon will receive cash prizes ($1,000, $750 and $500) and the masters winners will receive $250 each. At the half marathon, cash prizes of $500 will be awarded to the overall male and female winners.

The relay is open to teams of 4 participants. The time limit to complete the marathon is 6 hours.

There will be aid stations every 2 miles along the course. Water, isotonics and energy gels will be provided at aid stations.

Entry Fees

  • $80 and up – full marathon
  • $30 and up – full marathon relay
  • $40 and up – half marathon

Course Map

The marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified. The marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The course runs on a fully tarmac surface.
