With its amazing location and cool temperatures, Star Valley is the best place for a July run. All runners and walkers are welcome to participate. There will also be a free Kid’s run the morning of the race. The annual Star Valley Half Marathon will benefit local families in need.

Race Info
The course begins at the Heiner Family Airfield in Turnerville and will wind through beautiful, hilly farmland. The top 3 men and women in the overall competition, as well as the winners of the men and women age groups will be awarded with cups.
It will be about 40 degrees on the race day. All participants will receive finisher’s medals, custom made especially for this race and T-shirts. There will also be awards for the top finishers in each age group. There will be 5 aid stations on the course. At each aid station there will be portable toilets, water and a sports drink. Two aid stations will have fruit and one will have candy.
From the start line in the forest, the organizers will provide transportation to the start line for all participants. After runners leave the national forest area, the course will become flatter and remain so for most of the course to the finish line. The venue usually has the warmest and driest weather of the year in July. On the race day, the average low is 42ºF and the average high is 77ºF.
