The St. Michaels Running Festival is one of only two in Maryland recognized as one of the top 100 half marathons in the United States.The course is built to help athletes achieve a new record. When the race is over, the party will begin. Just a short walk from the finish line, participants can relax in a tent in the green area: free beer, food, and live music.

Race Info
What’s included in the registration: running sweatshirt, individual finisher’s medal, food at the finish line, restrooms at each station, energy gels, free beer for runners 21 and older. There will be a waterfront party with live music after the finish line.
There will be pace groups at the half marathon. Participants will need to find the pacemaker sign in their corridor. Strollers are not allowed in the half marathon. Organizers offer the opportunity to run a virtual half marathon, 10K and 5K. No awards will be given for virtual races.
The top 3 overall men and women (by gun time), top masters among men and women (by gun time), top 3 non-binary finishers (by gun time), top 3 men and women in age groups (by chip time) will be awarded. Awards will be presented at the post-race party.

At the half marathon, you can set a new personal record on a USATF-certified flat and fast course. Elevation averages 8 to 10 feet (with the highest peak at 16 feet).
