Soapstone Mountain Half Marathon

You fall in love with the Soapstone Mountain Half Marathon course because of the beautiful nature. The race starts so high in elevation that often July has snow at the start. It starts high in the wilderness and passes pines and aspens all the way down, with rivers and mountain peak views into lower lands.

Course Map

Almost 100% downhill over 13.1 miles, passing great views near the High Uinta Wilderness. This is one of the fastest courses in Utah.

One of the main advantages of this downhill course is that it has downhill but none that is too fast or too flat. The decline is steady throughout the course.
