The Snow Joke Half Marathon is a freezing-cold, blazing-fast race in Seeley Lake. It is one of Montana’s oldest footraces. Featured in Runner’s World magazine as one of “America’s Perfect Half Marathons”.

Race Info
The first official Snow Joke was run on February 23, 1980. Since the very first race, it has never been canceled.
All participants will receive a free beer at the finish line (for participants 21+). Top 3 male, female and non-binary athletes overall will receive special awards. Athletes can enjoy this popular and scenic race together with their dogs.
The marathon proceeds directly benefit Seeley Lake Elementary School’s Outdoor Adventure Club.
