Sleeping Bear Marathon

All races of the Sleeping Bear Marathon will start and finish in the same place. The marathon and half marathon distances will follow the ascent of the dunes. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a shirt.

Race Info

The full and half marathon participants must have a valid Sleeping Bear Dunes Entrance Pass on the day of the race, before or after the race.

Participants will receive: a finisher’s shirt, a medal, post-race refreshments and snacks, free beer for those over 21, chip timing with quick and accurate results and free digital photos. Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in the overall standings on each course, as well as the top 3 men and women in each age group on all courses.

Volunteers will be stationed along the course to ensure that participants do not miss a turn. There will also be aid stations with water and gels along the course. There is no cancellation or postponement of the entry fee in this event.
