A popular race because of the relatively flat city streets, historic beauty of the architecture and natural scenery. Walkers can participate in the half marathon if they can cover the distance in 4 hours. After participants cross the finish line, they can celebrate with live music, refreshments and local snacks at the shore party.

Race Info
Participants will receive: finisher’s medal (a different medal for each course), a T-shirt, equipment bag, support on the course with isotonics and gels, free drinks at the festival at the finish line, entrance to the festival, post-race concert.
Live bands and DJs will fill the streets, performing hits of all genres and decades of music. The time limit: for the half marathon 4 hours, 5K – 1 hour. Kids’ fun runs are open to children ages 0-17. All participants receive a medal, t-shirt, badge, snacks and music at the finish line. One parent is allowed to run with their child during the race. The adult must have a BIB that matches the child’s BIB to participate in the race.
The peak fall season can be quite cold in the Washington area, as temperatures average between 40 and 60 degrees in March. Wet weather is possible.
