Race Info
Boston Qualifier, The Pittsburgh Marathon is 26.2 miles of USATF-certified, closed on-street race course throughout the city. More than 300,000 spectators cheer the runners on the course through 14 distinct neighborhoods of Pittsburgh featuring festivals, bands, and cheerathoners.
The race was held annually from 1985-2003 and was relaunched in 2009.
All participants receive a personalized race bib, race shirt, on-course and post-race hydration and nutrition, professional chip timing, finisher’s medal, and more. The packet also includes access to the Finish Line Festival.
