The traditional Patriots Run is a family friendly race. The day begins at noon, and participants run 9 hours and 11 minutes in honor of the rescuers and those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It’s one of the few events like this where spectators can watch the entire race. Proceeds from the Patriot Run benefit the Kansas City chapter of Folds of Honor.

Race Info
The winner of the race is the person or team with the most laps by the end of the day. There is a timing system at the event. Teams and families are welcome to set up their tent in a special area.
The ultra marathons: all laps must be completed before 4:11PM. Individual participants will complete as many laps of the 1.5 mile course as possible in 9 hours and 11 minutes. The cut off for the half marathon is 3,11 hours, for the 5K – 1,11 hour.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and medals. Team plaque will be for all teams. Team categories include military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, walkers and open division. Each team can have up to 10 people. The chip is passed from runner to runner.
