The Noche Trail Runs start in the evening in the scenic hills of South Llano River State Park and runs through rocky, dry conditions. If you’re looking for a challenging nighttime trail run under the stars, this race is for you. This course will be harder than you expect.

Race Info
There will be several volunteers at the aid stations and there will be water, electrolytes, cucumber juice, bananas, oranges and various other salty, sweet and savory snacks.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Finishers of the 40M distance will receive a special medal for running in tough conditions. The winner man and woman of each course will receive a special prize. The last person to finish each course will receive the DFL award – “the last dead man”.
The course is very rocky, wide and hilly. The weather is expected to be 90 degrees at the start and 70 degrees at night. This is a cupless race, so please come with your own bottle. The race cut off is 7:00 AM.

Course Map
You can find the course map and description here: texasoutlawrunning.com. The ascent of the 40M will be over 3,000 feet and the descent over 3,000 feet. There will be refreshment stations every 6.5 miles along the course. The ascent of the 27M will be over 2,000 feet and the descent over 2,000 feet. Feeding stations will be located every 6.5 miles along the course. The elevation gain at the half marathon will be more than 1,000 feet and the descent will be more than 1,000 feet. There will be aid stations every 6.5 miles on the course.
