My First 50

My First 50 is geared towards new runners, only they can qualify for awards. But participants who have run these races before are of course welcome to participate as well. The race course is challenging. The number of runners is limited to 150 athletes.

Race Info

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners of the 50M and 50K distances. If a participant has run these races before, they will not be eligible for overall or masters awards. All participants will receive a finisher’s award, t-shirt, refreshment points and gifts after completing the course. 

Time limit for completing the 50M is 15 hours (18 minutes per mile), there is no time limit for the 50K. There will be 3 feeding stations along the course with light food and drinks.

The 10M race participants can run or walk. The 10M course is gentle hills, roots and terrain. The 10M is a fun run with no age group awards.

  • $85 and up – 50M
  • $75 and up – 50K
  • $15 and up – 10M

Course Map

You can find the course map and description here: happycatevents.com. The course is a 10M loop. 7M is a single track mountain bike trail, 2M is a paved trail. The 50K trail is 3 loops, the 50M is 5 loops. Elevation gain on each loop is 700 ft.
