The course of the Missoula Marathon is point-to-point, starting with a scenic course through the countryside and ending in historic downtown Missoula at 3,200 feet above sea level. The course of the race is relatively fast and flat, with plenty of trees and shade.

Race Info
The marathon course is well marked with cones and arrows on the road. Wheelchair and motorcycle races will take place as part of the marathon and half marathon. The limit of participants for the marathon is 1,500, for the half marathon – 3,000, for the 5K – 1,500. There will be no race day registration.
The runners of the marathon and half marathon will get a short-sleeve technical T-shirt, equipment bag and finisher’s medal. The finishers of the 5K race will get a soft, casual race shirt and finishers medal.
Awards: there will be an awarding ceremony at the finish line: the top 3 men, women and non-binary runners overall in the marathon and half marathon will be awarded. There will also be awards for the top 3 men, women and non-binary athletes in the 5K. Age group awards will be mailed to the winners after the results are tallied.
