The Mississippi River Marathon is the only marathon in the Mississippi Delta offering a variety of distances. It is one of the 50th fastest marathon in the USA.

Race Info
Awards will be given for the full marathon, the Mississippi River half marathon, and the half marathon relay. Any male or female who breaks their personal course record in the marathon will receive a cash bonus of $500.
There are plenty of aid stations (almost every mile) on the course, which also provide water, sports drinks, and porta-potties.
Want to run a half marathon in two states on the same day? Take part in the Delta Double Down. For the Delta Double, athletes run the same course as the full marathon.
The Arkansas Half Finish and the Mississippi Half Start are separated by 10 feet. There are no awards for the Delta Double except a half marathon medal for each state for a total of two medals.

Course Map
The marathon is a USATF-certified course. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
The course starts in Lake Village, AR, and ends in Greenville, MS. The morning of the race, the organizers shuttle athletes on school buses from the finish line to their respective start lines for the half and full.
