The Mines of Spain Trail Races will be as environmentally friendly as possible, with local food and beer, cupless races and a zero-waste approach from pre-race to post-race. Profits will be donated back to the Friends of the Mines of Spain Foundation to maintain the trails.

Race Info
There will also be a free Mini-Mines Trail Race for children ages 12 and under on Friday night during packet pickup. No pre-registration is required.
Water, sweet and salty snacks will be provided on the course. All participants are strongly encouraged to bring a portable water bottle, as the race is without cups and no cups will be provided on the course. There will be no registration on race day. Only online registration.
The course will close in 4 hours after the start. All runners will receive a beautiful, challenging and well-marked course, fun post-race program including free local beer and delicious brick oven pizza.

Course Map
You can find the course map and description here: minesofspaintrailraces.com. The terrain is a diverse mix of unpaved single and double track roads and wide grassy prairie trails. There are some rocky, technical sections as well as some steep climbs, but most of the trail is smooth and easy to run, with some small hills.
