Marshall University Marathon is the largest marathon in West Virginia with a super-fast and flat course. All participants will receive beautiful souvenirs in all races. After the finish line participants can celebrate their run with food and refreshments, including burgers and beer.

Race Info
All participants in the half marathon will receive a long-sleeve sweatshirt, a 5K T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the fastest runners: the top 3 men and women in the overall standings and in age groups. Awards must be received before the end of the competition. They will not be sent by mail.
The time limit for the half marathon will be 6 hours. Water and isotonics will be available after about 1,5 miles. Gels are not available on the course. Bicycles, rollers, dogs and headphones are prohibited.
The average temperature on the race day is 37 degrees, the average high for early November here is 56 degrees – perfect temperature for a fast race.
