The Marathon 2 Marathon attracts about 500 runners each year. It is a fast, relaxed race that is a qualifier for Boston. Participants will enjoy a dry, cool climate, a gradual descent, beautiful scenery and lunch at the finish line. 100% of the proceeds go to the medical center, school and fire department.

Race Info
There will be no registration on the day of the race. Water stations will be located every 2 miles where sports drinks and water will be served.
The entry fee includes a medal for the finish and a T-shirt. The awards ceremony will take place immediately after the race. There will be awards for the top 3 men and women in the overall standings and the top 2 in each age group in all races. Overall results will be based on gun time. Age category results are based on chip time. No prizes will be mailed. Everyone who wants will receive champagne.
The time limit on the course will be 6 hours. Every mile will be marked. Strollers, bicycles, dogs are not allowed on the course. Starting fees are not refundable or carried over to the next year, but you can re-register your slot to another person. The event city usually experiences mild to moderately warm weather in mid-autumn. On the race day the average low temperature is 45°F and the average high temperature is 78°F.
