The Lincoln Marathon is held annually on the first Sunday in May. The race is organized by the Lincoln Track Club. This is a volunteer organization that has been promoting running since 1975. The marathon has been held in Lincoln, Nebraska for more than 40 years.

Race Info
The Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon race weekend starts with the Runner’s Expo, where you can pick up your packet and visit expo vendors. The packet includes an official Lincoln Marathon participant shirt and race bib.
The course runs through the streets of Lincoln, overlooking the Nebraska State Capitol, Holmes Lake, and Union College. The organizers provide pacers for both races. The finish will be on Stadium Drive to the west of Memorial Stadium.
Although Nebraska weather is unpredictable, the race has never been canceled due to weather.
