The Last Chance Marathon and Half Marathon offers scenic views and ample hills for participants. A party with soups, sandwiches and snacks will be waiting for participants at the finish line. Snow falls at this time of year.

Race Info
The limit of participants for the race is 250 athletes. There will be no registration on the day of the race.
There will be an early start option. But competitors who start early will not be eligible for awards. The time limit for completing the half marathon is 3 hours and the marathon is 5 hours. Participants will pass the aid station twice in the half marathon and 4 times in the full marathon. There will be water, electrolyte drink and other snacks at the food stations.ย
Cold and cloudy December weather is expected in Bellingham. Snow is possible on the race day. At this time of year, average temperatures range from 43ยฐF to 34ยฐF.

You can find the course map and description here: nwenduranceevents.com. The half marathon course is an out and back distance and the full marathon course is the same out and back distance run twice. Most of the course is an old railroad.
