Lake Samish Runs Half Marathon is an annual circuit running race near Bellingham. Usually the starting places are sold out before the race, so you should hurry to register. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Race Info
The number of participants is limited to 300 athletes. Walkers are welcome at this event, but they must finish the race in the allotted time. The time limit is 3 hours.
Awards will be given to the male and female overall, Masters (40+) and children (12 years and under) winners. Runners with strollers are allowed to enter the race, but they must start behind all other runners. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
The weather in Bellingham in January is usually cold and wet, with temperatures as low as 9 degrees and as high as 65 degrees.

Course Map
You can find the course map and description here: gbrc.net. The course is on paved country roads, mostly flat terrain with a few hills. The course will be well marked with markers. The 6,5M run is one lap, the half marathon is two laps.
