The course of the Lake Norman Half Marathon Elf Classic is paved winding roads with wildlife all around. This is a relatively flat and fast run. The run is held in support of the Human Health Project. The organizers ask participants to bring along non-perishable food items for donation.

Race Info
Participants will receive: the best participant medal in North Carolina, a short sleeve technical T-shirt, trophy and a beanie hat. The top 3 men and women in the overall standings and the top 3 men and women in the age groups will receive additional awards.
It is possible to participate virtually in the event. Virtual participants will receive a participant medal and a T-shirt. Gifts will be sent on the Monday after the race. The time limit for the half marathon is 3.5 hours. Participants with strollers are allowed on the 5K course.
Children under 4 years old can run with their parents for free. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
