The Jump Off Rock is an endurance running event with a scenic, fast, downhill half marathon course and a moderately flat 10k route in the heart of Hendersonville, NC.

Race Info
Race entry includes a T-shirt,a goodie bag filled with goodies, a unique, custom-designed commemorative finisher medal and complimentary beer after the race (21+).
Award categories: top three finishers, overall (male and female); top overall 1st place finishers, masters (male and female); age group awards. Cash prizes for the overall top three male and female winners of the 10K: 1st place — $100, 2nd place — $75, and 3rd place — $50.
After the race, all participants can join the post-race party with live music.

The courses have the USA Track & Field (USATF) Course Certification.
The majority of the half marathon is paved, with one short downhill section that is packed dirt in Laurel Park and around Osceola Lake. The 10K is all paved surfaces on city streets and packed dirt around the lake.
