The Jump Off Joe Marathon is a traditional low-cost run exclusively on gravel roads on the mountain. At the finish line participants receive awards, but these are not the usual medals, and there will also be a raffle where participants can win something for themselves.

Race Info
The event will be on gravel roads. The half marathon and full marathon participants will climb to the top of the mountain. This is not a flat trail, and the descents can be very steep. You can get your number in the morning of the race or the day before.
Finisher’s awards will be given to each participant, but it will not be traditional medals. A $50 cash prize will be given to anyone who breaks the course record. There will be a random drawing for groceries and other cool stuff, in which each runner participates.
The road is not closed, so watch out for cars. There will be warning signs on the roads notifying drivers that there are runners on the road. This is more of a trail run than a regular road run, so aid stations are 3-5 miles apart.
