Jersey City Marathon & Half Marathon Marquee Event is an annual race in Newport on a certified course. The race course is one of the fastest and flattest in America. If all start slots are redeemed, a waiting list will be started.

Race Info
There will be aid stations approximately every 2 miles along the course. Water and an isoactive drink will be served at the aid stations. At the finish line, participants will be provided with water, an isoactive drink and a recovery drink.
Participants in both distances need to maintain a pace no slower than 15 minutes per mile. The time limit for the marathon is 6 hours 35 minutes and for the half marathon 3 hours 30 minutes.
All participants will receive a huge finisher’s medal and a T-shirt. The top 5 men, women and non-binary people overall, the top 3 men, women and non-binary people in the Masters category, the top 3 men and women in age groups and the top 3 fastest Jersey City residents will receive special awards.
