The annual half marathon has been called “the state’s most welcoming half marathon” because of its small-town atmosphere and the small size of the race. Last year about 100 runners finished both races.

Race Info
The top 3 men and women overall and the top 3 men and women in age groups on both courses will be awarded. Overall awards will be based on gun time. Awarding in age groups will be by chip time.
The time limit for the half marathon will be 3,5 hours. There will be no time limit for the 5K race. No registration will be available on the day of the race.
October in Kinston usually has the mildest and driest weather of the year, with temperatures averaging between 40 and 70 degrees.
