The Indy Half Marathon is a running competition for the whole family. The half marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids’ one-mile run is included. The half marathon runs through the historic city of Lawrence and Fort Harrison State Park. There will be several hills on the courses, as well as many flat sections. All races are conducted in accordance with USATF competition rules.

Race Info
The registration includes: long sleeve T-shirt, finisher’s medal, name BIB, post-race celebration with food, drinks and entertainment for the whole family. After participants cross the finish line, they will have the opportunity to enjoy food, drinks and entertainment for the whole family.
Runners must maintain a pace of 18:00 per mile. After 12:00 noon on the half marathon results won’t be counted. Finisher’s medals will only be awarded to those who finish within the time limit.
The half marathon and 10K participants must be over 10 years old. 5K participants must be 5 years old or older on the day of the race.
Kids One Mile is for children ages 4-10. It is not allowed to participate with animals, bicycles, baby strollers, strollers, roller skates, treadmills or any other unauthorized wheeled devices. Indianapolis typically sees the mildest weather of the year in October, with temperatures averaging between the mid-40s and mid-60s and precipitation averaging just under 3 inches per month.
