Herron Half Marathon is a scenic and challenging trail run is held from 2012. Profits from the races goes directly to building and maintaining trails. The race is run entirely on trails and old dirt roads with no automobile traffic.

Race Info
The half marathon includes more than 2,000 feet of vertical climbing, 10K run includes more than 800 feet, 5K race – 450 feet. The 5K distance is best for walkers, as it takes about 90 minutes. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Spectator dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after them.
Badges are available on the day of the race. At the end of the race, participants will receive bags of gifts from sponsors.
At 11:30 AM there will be an unofficial children’s race for ages 12 and under. This run will be free. There will be no timing. Children will receive stickers and possibly an extra prize for completing the race.
