Greensboro Half Marathon

The course of the Greensboro Half Marathon is the flattest around. The elevation gain is 283 feet. The course will be very well marked.

Race Info

All participants will receive finisher’s medals. The top 3 men and women overall in the half marathon will receive cash prizes (1st place – $400, 2nd – $225, 3rd – $150). Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in the overall and age groups in the half marathon and 5K.

Organizers will provide pacers to help participants reach their goal on the race day. For the half marathon there will be 7 timing points located on the course. Headphones are allowed, but one ear must be free to hear the other runners. 

Athletes will get one free beer after the finish line. There will also be plenty of snacks, including water, beer, soda, chocolate milk, pretzels, bananas, pancakes, bacon and more. The time limit for the half marathon course will be 3 hours and 15 minutes.
