The Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Marathon is an event with stunning scenery. Registration includes great souvenirs: socks for the finishers, a big lanyard medal, food after the race and a T-shirt.
The full marathon is a certified qualifier for the Boston Marathon. There is the possibility of non-binary registration, which has its own award categories.

Race Info
The course is 100% hard dirt tracks. You don’t need sneakers to run on the trail, regular sneakers will be ok. The trail is evenly coated with limestone crumb. There would be aid stations with water and isotonic about every two miles.
All first-time finishers in the half marathon and marathon will receive a plaque commemorating their first finish.
The first man and woman and non-binary overall and the top 3 male and female and non-binary athletes in each age group will be awarded. There will be no official awarding ceremony.
Results will be known in real time, and athletes will be able to pick up an award immediately after the finish line. Each finisher will receive a medal. Medals and awards will not be mailed.
