God’s Country Marathon is the third-longest marathon in Pennsylvania. Runner’s World Magazine listed it as one of the “Best Small Marathons” and “10 Hardest Marathons” in the United States. It is a certified race and sanctioned event as well as a qualifying run for the Boston Marathon.

Race Info
The course will be signposted at every mile, as well as race signs signaling turns. Most of the course is on the highway, a major road.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and finisher’s medal. The top 3 men and women will receive cash prizes. The top men and women in age groups will receive gift cards from local businesses. The last men and women finishers of the full marathon will receive gift cards.
After the finish line, runners, volunteers, families and friends are invited to a party at the Crittenden Hotel. Coudersport usually has the wettest weather of the year in June. On the race day, the average low is 49°F and the average high is 74°F.

Course Map
You can find the course map and description here: rungcm.com. The marathon begins at 1,300 feet above sea level. There will be 25 water stations throughout the course. Water and isotonics will be provided at each station. The course has the USA Track & Field (USATF) Course Certification.
