Have you ever taken a chance to run at the airport? The times when you were late to a flight don’t count. You can try this with the Fly With The Eagles Half Marathon organized by the River to River Runners Club.

Race Info
The half marathon race is located at Southern Illinois Airport in Murphysboro.
There are several age groups. The top three male and female athletes overall receive special awards. All finishers receive a custom finisher’s medal and hooded sweatshirt.
There will be a total of three aid stations. Water will be available at each aid station. Aid stations will be at approximately miles 3.5, 6.5, 7, and 9. Runners will pass each aid station twice.

The route has a few slight hills. The maximum elevation is 62 meters. The race goes mostly on asphalt, but it also has a few segments that are chipped and some concrete mixed in.
