The Emerald Mountain Epic presented by Hard Headed attracts some of the nation’s best trail running racers while still offering incredible opportunities for athletes of all skill levels to test their mettle.

Race Info
The race is a uniquely rewarding and challenging experience in that it is 90% singletrack with major elevation gains.
The full marathon course is one lap, with open meadows, aspen forests, and wild sage gardens offering incredible views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.
Hydration containers will be available at each aid station, and our volunteers will help you fill your bottle in a hygienic way. There will also be a variety of different sweet and salty foods that will be individually served. This includes, but may not be limited to, things like chips, pretzels, cookies, trail mix, bananas, and mini dill pickles.
